Bloomfield, NJ – The Sanctuary on the Green Arts, Cultural and Community Alliance, in collaboration with Vox Novus, is excited to bring the critically acclaimed "Tokyo to New York" concert series to Bloomfield, NJ, for the first time on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at 3:00 PM. Hosted at the historic Sanctuary on the Green, this landmark event marks the New Jersey debut of the renowned international series that has captivated audiences in both Tokyo and New York for years.
The series, known for its eclectic and boundary-crossing musical selections, has found a new home in the heart of Bloomfield, embracing the town’s rich cultural and artistic heritage. This performance will feature clarinetist and hichiriki player Thomas Piercy, cellist Daniel Hass, and pianist Marina Iwao, showcasing works from Beethoven to contemporary composers like Dai Fujikura and Minako Tokuyama.
